Mr. Walton is ordering polo shirts for your student on Monday. If any of you parents would
like a matching polo shirt for you, you can get a better buy if you order with the students. Get with Mr. Walton or Gale Nelson to order sizes. Her number is 452-2314. You can call me as well 452-1365.
The cost will be $15.00 per shirt. This is a great deal. It would be fun to see more parents wearing a
band polo! But not mandatory! Also thank you to all of you who have signed up to help the band this year!
It takes a lot of you to help, but our children are well worth it:)

Cotton Candy Booth
Basketball Season has begun for both the Boys and Girls teams. This means we will be running the Cotton Candy Booth at each home game.
We will need six students/parents to work each game. You can sign-up to work the booth by commenting here on the blog, emailing us at brbandboosters@yahoo.com, or posting a comment on the BR Band Boosters group on Facebook.
We will meet at the High School, in the hall by the gym. The time will be from 5:00pm - 9:00pm, unless noted otherwise.
Dates are as follows:
December: 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th (2:30pm - 6:00pm), 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 21st, and 22nd.
January: 6th, 7th, 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th.
February: 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th.

Upcoming Events
There are two fun upcoming events where we will have an opportunity to enjoy the Season together.
On December 4th at Midland Square in Tremonton, Santa Claus is coming! Bear River High School Band along with Mr. Walton will play starting at noon. This is not manditory, but is well worth the fun!
On December 11th at 6pm, the Bear River High School Band will be playing in the Garland Lights Parade. The parade starts at the Garland Fire Department and ends at the High School. Fireworks will be lit following the parade. Students may decorate/light their instruments, so start figuring out how to make that work! Again this is not manditory, but is a lot of COLD fun! Be sure and dress warm!

Shirts and Vinyl Available
As mentioned at the Band Banquet, we have Hoodies, Polos and Vinyl available with the Band Booster Logo as seen on this blog.
The prices on the shirts include the set-up fee depending on how many we order. If we actually order more than 50, there will be no set up fee.
For those interested, I will be putting an order in by December 1st. That way the shirts will be available by Christmas.

Band Banquet
What a fun night!!
First of all, Thank you to Stephanie for such a wonderful dinner! We appreciate all your hard work!
Don't you think that our Bear River band members are the greatest! Not to mention the fact that we happen to have the most fantastic High School Band Teacher!
We appreciate all of you parents and students who came to make new memories and enjoy the old ones. All of this would be nothing without you.

Welcome
Yeah! We have finally got this blog up are running!
As a presidency, we are so excited to work with the band. Our Marching Band season has come to a close with our last and some say best performance on Saturday. Well done all of you! You have worked hard this season!
We look ahead to the rest of the year of great concerts and of course our Dinner Dance in the spring. Also in store, for those of you wanting to earn money for tour, will be chances to work in the cotton candy booth.
We will be using this blog to notify students and parents of these upcoming events. Please feel free to visit often and, of course, leave feed back and commentary!
